The board gives notice that their Annual General Meeting will be held at the Lochranza and Catacol Village Hall, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 7:00 pm. The business of the meeting will include the election of directors for the Boards of both the North Arran Community Benefit Society and the Lochranza Country Inn. A full agenda and financial statement will be provided to members prior to the date of the meeting.
If you live in North Arran and are registered on the electoral roll for its postcodes, you can easily become a Community Member by completing a simple form via this website at https://www.nacbs.co.uk/join-us/ and purchasing a share for just £1. Paper applications will also be available at the AGM. Once your application has been processed, you will be able to vote, stand for election or nominate candidates for board director positions as well as influence the Benefit Society’s direction. You will also help us understand the diverse needs of our community, ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard.
The Agenda will include reports on the past year from the Benefit Society and feedback to NACBS from the North Arran Community Survey.
