North Arran Community Benefit Society is hiring a Community Engagement Officer!
NACBS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Community Engagement Officer to join our team for 1 year. During this year, the Community Engagement Officer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships between NACBS and the community. This role involves outreach, advocacy, and sensitivity; identifying events, and creating strategies to engage and mobilize the community in support of the organisation’s mission, goals, and initiatives.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, passionate about fostering positive relationships, increasing community involvement, and enhancing the visibility of the organisation within the local area. The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the differing views within the community, have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, a strong influencer, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The position is for 12 months, but may extend if funding available. It is full time, £26,208/year, and is a hybrid position.
